RECAP OF DECEMBER 2008
FIRST THE BAD NEWS:

It was obviously not a very good month for us as we got hit by several infrastructure plays and a few other untimely announcements. The bottom line is the Monthly Cash Machine got hit for a $9,360 LOSS, by far the worse of the year and can be viewed in the portfolio section of the newsletter.

However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
The MCM DJX INDEX PORTFOLIO PORTION OF THE MONTHLY CASH MACHINE showed a profit for the 10th consecutive month since its inception.

In addition, even with the "big hit" the Monthly Cash Machine took this December 2008, the overall MONTHLY CASH MACHINE showed a profit for the year. It may have not been a big return, for the year, but if you consider the performance of the major indexes for 2008, we could have done worse.

THE THE COMBINED MONTHLY CASH MACHINE PORTFOLIO FOR THE YEAR 2008 SHOWED:
A PROFIT OF $3,990.00)

In the meantime, the January WATCH list will be starting today, you should be getting that shortly.

We are also adding several more JANUARY POSITIONS this weekend.
