As we prepare for Monday morning's market open, Thursday night's recommendation is back by popular demand. For those of you who were unable to get into the Thursday night recommended position, here it is again.
At this point, the futures are flat, so the OEX will not likely run away from us -- at least not at the open. The maintenance is $20,000 and our cushion is about 40 points.
Also, you might consider using the XEO as opposed to the OEX. The advantage of using the XEO is that it is a European style option. However, instead of ceasing trading on Thursday night (like the SPX & RUT), its settlement is the end of the day Friday. However, it cannot be exercised prior to expiration.
