Bottom

The "bottom" of a stock trend usually refers to the lowest trading price within a specified period of time or cycle. For example, if a trader is playing a stock on a short-term downward move, the bottom for that particular period will be at whatever point the stock hit the lowest point of that trend and reversed, not necessarily the lowest price in the securities history.
