- New Trades -
(November 29, 2015)
No new trades tonight. Last week Smith & Wesson (SWHC) graduated from our watch list to the active play list. Small caps were showing relative strength while big caps seemed to take the week off with a sideways performance.
Historically December is a very strong month for the bulls. Let's hope the Federal Reserve doesn't kill the seasonal trend. Market sentiment would suggest that investors are finally ready for the Fed to raise rates when they meet this month (Dec. 16th). Unfortunately markets do not always behave logically and we could see sentiment sour before the Fed's meeting.
Odds are good we could see multiple watch list candidates meet our entry point requirements this week and graduate to the active play list. Tonight's new watch list candidates are Red Hat (RHT) and United Parcel Service (UPS).
Here is a list of stocks on my radar screen. These have potential to be LEAPS trades down the road if the right entry point presents itself. In no particular order:
SWK, EW, LMT, AMBA, JBHT, MMM, VA, JBLU, JEC
