Boston Scientific - BSX - cls: 14.79 change: -0.38 stop: 15.51

Company Description:
Boston Scientific is a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices whose products are used in a broad range of interventional medical specialties. (source: company press release or website)

Why We Like It:
BSX recently reported earnings and missed estimates. The market reaction sent shares of BSX lower and the stock broke down under support at the $15.00 level on big volume! The breakdown looks like a new entry to short it. We are going to list two targets. Our conservative target is the $14.05-14.00 range since BSX could have support near the March 2007 lows. Our more aggressive target is the $13.55-13.50 zone.

Group 1 Automotive - GPI - cls: 38.22 change: -0.34 stop: 40.26

Group 1 owns and operates 102 automotive dealerships, 140 franchises and 28 collision service centers in the United States and three dealerships, six franchises and two collision centers in the United Kingdom that offer 32 brands of automobiles. (source: company press release or website)

Why We Like It:
Three days ago GPI broke down from its three-month trading range. Volume has spiked higher on the declines, which is usually bearish. There has been almost no oversold bounce and the stock looks poised to move lower. We only have six trading days since we plan to exit ahead of the earnings report on July 31st. Our target is the $35.15-35.00 range. More aggressive traders may want to aim lower. The Point & Figure chart has a relatively new triple-bottom breakdown sell signal with a $33 target.

Mattel - MAT - cls: 24.68 change: -0.58 stop: 26.15

Company Description:
Mattel, Inc., is the worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of toys and family products. The Mattel family is comprised of such best-selling brands as Barbie, the most popular fashion doll ever introduced, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, American Girl, Radica and Tyco R/C, as well as Fisher-Price brands, including Little People, Power Wheels and a wide array of entertainment- inspired toy lines. (source: company press release or website)

Why We Like It:
MAT experienced a pre-earnings spike in mid July and then quickly reversed course after results failed to inspire. The sell-the-news reaction has turned into a bearish reversal. MAT's recent oversold bounce has turned into another failed rally. Shares recently broke down under technical support at the simple and exponential 200-dma. The MACD on the daily chart is nearing a new sell signal. We're suggesting shorts with MAT under $25.00. Our target is the $22.05-22.00 range.

UnitedHealth - UNH - cls: 51.32 change: -0.57 stop: 52.05

Company Description:
UnitedHealthcare provides a full spectrum of consumer-oriented health benefit plans and services. The company organizes access to quality, affordable health care services on behalf of more than 26 million individual consumers, contracting directly with more than 535,000 physicians and care professionals and 4,700 hospitals nationwide to offer them broad, convenient access to services nationwide. (source: company press release or website)

Why We Like It:
UNH recently gapped lower as investors reacted to its earnings report. The results were better than expected but the market sold the news anyway. Shares have developed a bearish trend of lower highs and technicals have turned bearish again. If UNH breaks down under support at the $50.00 level we want to be ready. We're suggesting a trigger to short the stock at $49.95. If triggered our target is the $45.25-45.00 range. The P&F chart is already bearish and points to a $46 target.
