NEW BULLISH Plays

Joy Global - JOYG - close: 35.19 change: +2.25 stop: 28.70

Why We Like It:
Some of the commodity related stocks bounced on dollar weakness today. JOYG doesn't produce any commodities but builds mining equipment. Shares bounced sharply today but it would still go lower. I'm suggesting readers buy JOYG on a dip into the $31.00-30.00 zone. I'm listing a stop loss at $28.70. If triggered our first target is $36.40.

Morgan Stanley - MS - close: 27.70 change: +1.07 stop: 24.40

Why We Like It:
Aggressive traders might be tempted to buy today's bounce from the exponential 200-dma. I suspect that MS may trade a little lower before continuing its bullish trend. I'm suggesting readers buy MS on a dip into the $25.50-24.50 zone. We'll use a stop loss under the rising 100-dma. If triggered our target is the $29.00-30.00 zone.

NEW BEARISH Plays

Gen-Probe - GPRO - close: 41.64 change: -0.54 stop: 44.05

Why We Like It:
The trend in GPRO is bearish and I think it's about to get worse. The pattern of lower highs is coiling against the $41.00 zone. This is setting up for a breakdown and a plunge to new relative lows. I'm suggesting bearish positions now or even on a bounce toward $43.00-44.00. Our first target is $38.05. Our second trget is $35.25. The Point & Figure chart is forecasting a $32.00 target.
