Editor's Note:

There were plenty of stocks that looked like bearish candidates. Just a few more that caught my eye were AXE, CAH, CKH, DSW, RTI, and TECD.

NEW BEARISH Plays

Atlas Air Worldwide - AAWW - close: 37.06 change: -1.01 stop: 40.05

Why We Like It:
Momentum has rolled over for shares of AAWW. I suspect that of oil sees a bounce the airlines could see their correction speed up. AAWW has already broken a few short-term support levels. I'm suggesting small bearish positions now. Our first target is $32.60. We might consider a second target near $30. My time frame is two or three weeks.

Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao - CBD - cls: 70.50 chg: -1.30 stop: 74.05

Why We Like It:
Aggressive traders only!
Shares of this Brazilian retailer have rallied from $23 at the 2009 lows to almost $80. This stock is extremely overbought and way overdue for a correction. The U.S. market's pull back this past week has dragged CBD down toward support near $70.00 and its 50-dma. A breakdown from here could portend a much more serious correction.

I am labeling this a very aggressive trade. I could not find any good figures on CBD's outstanding shares or float. There could be huge short interest in this stock. We want to use very small positions. I'm suggesting a trigger at $69.40 to open bearish positions. The stock can be volatile so we have a wide stop at $74.05. Our first target is $61.00. Our second target is $56.00. Time frame is several weeks.

Children's Place - PLCE - close: 32.41 change: -0.82 stop: 35.05

Why We Like It:
The $35.00 level has been a lid on this stock. Now that the market is correction shares of PLCE look poised to retreat. Almost all of the technicals have turned bearish. I'm suggesting bearish positions now with a stop at $35.05. Our target is $28.05. My time frame is about three weeks.
