Company Description

Why We Like It:
AMTD is in the financial sector. The company runs a brokerage service. Rising stock markets tend to capture the attention of the retail investor that should mean more business for companies like AMTD. The stock has been gaining momentum and this past week shares hit new multi-year highs. As a matter of fact, shares of AMTD have not traded above $30.00 a share since the year 1999. Do you remember 1999? Here's a popular AMTD commercial from that era: Amertrade's Light this Candle! commercial.

Thursday's high was $30.58. I am suggesting a trigger to open bullish positions at $30.65. If triggered our target is $33.85 as the $34.00 level looks like potential resistance.

Trigger @ 30.65

Suggested Position: buy AMTD stock @ (trigger)

Spirit Aero Systems - SPR - close: 33.60 change: +0.70

Stop Loss: 32.75
Target(s): 38.50
Current Gain/Loss: unopened

Entry on December -- at $--.--
Listed on December 21, 2013
Time Frame: Exit PRIOR to earnings in February.
Average Daily Volume = 1.2 million
New Positions: Yes, see below

Company Description

Why We Like It:
SPR is in the industrial goods sector. The company makes equipment and parts for the aerospace industry. The stock has displayed a significant amount of bullish momentum in 2013. That momentum paused a bit on December 1st and the stock started drifting sideways. It looks like shares are done resting thanks to the market's post-Fed meeting rally on Wednesday. Traders bought the dip on Friday morning and SPR tag another new multi-year high.

Friday's high was $33.75. I am suggesting a trigger to open bullish positions at $34.05 If triggered our multi-week target is $38.50 but we will plan on exiting positions prior to SPR's earnings report in February.

Trigger @ 34.05

Suggested Position: buy SPR stock @ (trigger)
