Archstone-Smith - ASN - close: 36.22 chg: -0.43 stop: 35.35

No surprises here. As we suggested yesterday ASN is pulling back with the broader market indices. Watch for support at the $36.00 mark or near $35.50. We would not suggest new bullish positions at this time. We'll wait for a bounce.

Picked on May 06 at $36.26

Brookfield Homes - BHS - close: 46.25 chg: -1.30 stop: 42.95

We see the same story here. As previously discussed BHS is pulling back with the market. We'd like to see a bounce near $46.00 but it's certainly probably that BHS could retrace toward the $45.00 level instead. We're not suggesting new bullish positions here.

No change from our previous updates. We still expect shares to dip toward the $5.50-5.40 range. Apparently there weren't any big, breaking news headlines from the SIRI shareholder meeting today.

Yahoo! Inc. - YHOO - close: 36.27 change: -0.36 stop: 33.95

Goldman Sachs reiterated their out perform rating on the Internet's big three: Google (GOOG), Ebay (EBAY) and Yahoo (YHOO). Of the three only YHOO traded lower today. We're still looking for YHOO to pull back toward the $35.00 level as the NASDAQ corrects from short-term overbought.

Closed Long Plays

First Bancorp - FBP - close: 39.12 chg: -1.78 stop: 38.49

Whoa! That is not the reaction we were looking for. Yesterday late in the session FBP announced a cash dividend and a 2-for-1 stock split. We commented on the lack of a positive reaction but suspected FBP might trade higher today after the news was digested by the investing public last night. Surprisingly the stock sold off today on big volume that was more than twice the average volume. The stock is still above what looks like minor support at the $39.00 level but the high-volume decline looks like bad news for the bulls. We're exiting early to avoid further losses.

Picked on May 05 at $40.37
