Long Play Updates
CEC Entertainment - CEC - cls: 37.49 chg: +0.55 stop: 35.99
The good news with CEC is that shares bounced strongly from testing technical support at the simple 200-dma. The bad news is that the rally failed this afternoon near the $38.00 level. We remain bullish. Our target is the $39.85-40.00 range.
Picked on February 1 at $37.61
Curtiss Wright - CW - close: 59.36 chg: +0.12 stop: 57.99
We are a little surprised that during today's relatively wide spread market rally that shares of CW could not breakout over resistance near $60. It looks like the stock did not even try to breakout. Our plan suggests traders go long at $60.35. More conservative traders might want to use a trigger like 60.51. If triggered we will target a run up into the $63.95-64.00 range.
Picked on February xx at $ xx.xx

Dominos Pizza - DPZ - close: 26.29 change: +0.14 stop: 24.45
DPZ gapped higher this morning and traded sideways in a narrow range. We remain bullish with shares above resistance at the $26.00 level. Our target is the $27.85-28.00 range. We do not want to hold over the February 21st earnings report.
on February 13 at $26.16
LM Ericsson - ERICY - close: 34.82 chg: +0.66 stop: 33.93
Our play in ERICY is now open. The market rally fueled a run in ERICY and shares broke out over short-term resistance at $34.60. Our trigger to go long was at $34.61. Our target is the $36.75-37.00 range.
Picked on February 14 at $34.61
Helen of Troy - HELE - close: 19.78 chg: +0.36 stop: 18.95
HELE is showing signs of life with today's 1.8% gain. More importantly HELE has broken out from its three-week trading range between $19.00 and $19.60. Our target is the $21.00 level (actually the simple 200-dma). We are not suggesting new positions.
Picked on January 25 at $19.04
TASER Intl. - TASR - close: 10.91 change: +0.35 close: 9.49*new*
TASR gapped higher on Tuesday morning and closed with a 3.3% gain on big volume after a new product announcement. TASR said it had produced a successful demonstration of its new Taser XREP or extended range electro-muscular projectile. This is supposed to be a non-lethal round fired from a 12-guage shotgun. Our target is the $11.85-12.00 range. We are raising the stop loss to $9.49.

Short Play Updates
Ebay Inc. - EBAY - close: 40.00 change: +0.43 stop: 42.01
Technology stocks saw some strong movers today but Internet-related equities were the laggards. Shares of EBAY rallied toward technical resistance at the 10-dma and its 200-dma before paring some of its gains. This may prove to be a failed rally at resistance sort of entry point but we'd rather wait for a new decline under $39.50 before initiating new positions. Our target is the $35.75-36.00 range.
on February 09 at $39.53
Flextronics - FLEX - close: 9.98 change: -0.03 stop: 10.35*new*
FLEX displayed some relative weakness today and that's good news for our short. We are going to lower the stop loss to $10.35. Our target is the $9.05-9.00 range.
Picked on February 05 at $10.02
Oregon Steel - OS - close: 35.76 change: +0.66 stop: 38.55*new*
The market rally today sparked a lot of short covering. Thankfully the short covering didn't get too out of hand in OS. That doesn't mean we're not in danger so we're going to lower our stop loss to $38.55. We are not suggesting new positions. Our target is the 50-dma but we're planning a tactical exit in the $33.50-33.00 range.
Picked on February 09 at $36.99

Amer. Home Mtg - AHM - close: 28.92 chg: +0.88 stop: 28.85
Yesterday we said that AHM looked ready to bounce but the stock got an extra boost from a bullish market today. We were stopped out at $28.85.
Picked on February 08 at $27.89
Liz Claiborne - LIZ - close: 35.37 change: +1.13 stop: 34.75
We've been stopped out of LIZ at $34.75. This is probably a short squeeze. All we know is that volume came in above average on the rebound.
Picked on February 07 at $33.45
