Diamonds - DIA - close: 93.67 change: - 1.36 stop: 88.90

The intraday sell-off in the DJIA took the DIA to $90.90. Our suggested entry point was to buy a dip in the $91.00-90.00 zone so the play is now open. Our stop loss is at $88.90. If you're feeling concerned consider a stop loss closer to $90.00 but be advised the market is expected to remain volatile. Also remember that we want to keep our trade position small. If you missed today's dip it could happen again tomorrow. Our target is $99.00.

Ultra Dow30 Proshares - DDM - close: 38.89 chg: -0.90 stop: 33.45

Our aggressive buy the dip play on the DJIA involves the DDM ultra long ETF. Our suggested entry point was to buy the DDM when the DJIA hit 9,100. That occurred at 2:57 p.m. at that time the DDM was at $37.15. This puts our stop loss at $33.45 (-10%) although more conservative traders may want to use a much tighter stop loss. Currently we're up about 4.6%. Our first target is $44.45. Our second target is $48.30. We suggest readers take most of their position, if not all their position, off the table at the first target.

S&P SPDRS - SPY - close: 99.85 change: - 1.50 stop: 92.90

Tuesday's volatile session wasn't quite volatile enough for the S&P 500 index. The SPY only dipped to $97.11 before bouncing back. We were suggesting readers buy the dip in the $96.00-95.00 zone. Not to worry it could still happen tomorrow. If triggered our target is $105.00.

Ultra S&P500 ProShares - SSO - close: 35.01 chg: -0.49 stop: varies

It's the same story with the SSO. We were suggesting readers buy the SSO if the S&P 500 index dipped into the 965-950 zone. The SPX only hit a low of 972.07. We're currently still sitting on the sidelines. We're not making nay changes to our strategy although more conservative traders may want to tighten their stops. If we are triggered we're starting the play with a stop loss 10% under our entry price in the SSO. Our first target for the SSO is +20%. Our second target is a 30% gain.

Terra Inds. - TRA - close: 24.18 change: -0.18 stop: 19.95

I am concerned that shares of TRA may be set for a deeper pull back tomorrow. Shares hit $26.49 intraday and then gave it all back. Right now I'd expect a dip back to $23.00 and potentially toward the $21.00 region. Wait for the dip and then signs of a bounce before considering new positions. More conservative traders will want to strongly consider a stop loss closer to our entry point around $22.00. Our first target on TRA is $27.00. Our second target on TRA will be $33.50.
