Editor's Note:
Some of the hardest hit stocks from last week are seeing an oversold bounce today. BC and WTI are good examples on our play list.

GPOR was triggered today.

Our target is $52.50, but investors should note that the $50.00 level might be overhead, round-number resistance. FYI: The Point & Figure chart for GPOR is bullish with a long-term $70.00 target.

current Position: Long GPOR stock @ $47.35

Comments:
04/08/13: STRZA failed to breakout past short-term technical resistance at its simple 10-dma today. I don't see any changes from my prior comments.

I am suggesting a trigger to launch small bullish positions at $21.50. If triggered our target is $24.50.

Trigger @ 21.50 *Small Positions*

Suggested Position: buy STRZA stock @ (trigger)

BEARISH Play Updates

Akamai Technologies - AKAM - close: 34.49 change: +0.31

Stop Loss: 35.05
Target(s): 30.15

Entry on April -- at $--.--

Time Frame: Exit prior to earnings on April 24th
Average Daily Volume = 3.9 million
New Positions: Yes, see below

Comments:
04/08/13: AKAM's rebound continued for a second day. Nimble traders could watch for a failed rally near the simple 20-dma as a new bearish entry point. The newsletter will wait for AKAM to hit our trigger.

Earlier Comments:
I am suggesting a trigger to launch bearish positions at $33.45. If triggered our target is $30.15. More aggressive traders could aim lower. The Point & Figure chart for AKAM is bearish with a $25.00 target.

Note: because of AKAM's high short interest you might want to trade the put option instead where you can limit your risk to the initial cost of the option.

Trigger @ 33.45

Suggested Position: short AKAM stock @ (trigger)

Brunswick Corp - BC - close: 32.92 change: +0.80

Entry on March 18 at $33.78
Listed on March 12, 2013
Time Frame: Exit PRIOR to earnings on April 25th
Average Daily Volume = 786 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
04/08/13: The oversold bounce in BC managed to make some improvement today. Shares had been stuck near the $32 level but BC surged with a +2.5% gain. I have been cautioning readers toe expect a potential bounce back toward the 10-dma or the $33.50 level. I am not suggesting new positions at this time.

Suggested Position: short BC stock @ $33.78

04/03/13 new stop loss @ 34.25
04/01/13 new stop loss @ 34.75

Cabot Microelectronics - CCMP - close: 33.23 change: +0.25

Entry on April 03 at $32.69
Listed on April 02, 2013

Average Daily Volume = 104 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
04/08/13: CCMP displayed some volatility this morning with a brief spike down to $31.68. Shares quickly recovered and the stock has closed back above its simple 200-dma. I am amending my previous comments. Readers may want to wait for a new failed rally under the $34.00 level before considering new bearish positions.

Earlier Comments:
We want to keep our position size small. We want to limit our risk because CCMP is arguably already short-term oversold. Of course it can get a lot more oversold. We are using somewhat of a wide stop loss at $34.05. Our target is $30.25.

*Small Positions*

current Position: short CCMP stock @ $32.69

W&T Offshore Inc. - WTI - close: 13.32 change: +0.34

Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 696 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
04/08/13: Ouch! I warned readers to expect a bounce but shares of WTI outperformed the market today with a +2.6% gain. Look for resistance in the $13.50-14.00 zone. I am not suggesting new positions.

Earlier Comments:
Our initial target is $12.15. More aggressive traders could aim lower. FYI: The Point & Figure chart for WTI is bearish with a $9.50 target.

current Position: short WTI stock @ $13.85

04/06/13 readers may want to exit now to lock in gains. WTI looks poised for an oversold bounce
