Editor's Note:
The markets could have plunged on the disappointing jobs number. Surprisingly the market proved resilient to the economic data.

LCI hit our entry trigger on Friday.
We want to exit our NSM trade on Monday morning.

Comments:
01/11/14: AMTD is still struggling to get past the $31.00 level. Shares underperformed on Friday with a -0.4% decline. We only have about ten days left before AMTD reports earnings. I am not suggesting new positions. We will likely need to adjust our target price lower.

Listed on January 04, 2014
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 836 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: CZR shot higher on Friday morning and posted a +1.69% gain by day's end. Tonight we're adjusting our stop loss up to $21.80 since the $22.00 level looks like it could be short-term support.

FYI: The Point & Figure chart for CZR is bullish with a $27.00 target.

*small positions*

current Position: long CZR stock @ $22.62

01/11/14 new stop loss @ 21.80

Gigamon Inc. - GIMO - close: 29.90 change: +0.19

Stop Loss: 29.45

Entry on January 09 at $31.49
Listed on January 07, 2014
Time Frame: 4 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 256 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: I am surprised. Given the sharp reversal lower on Thursday I was expecting shares to hit our stop loss on Friday morning. Instead GIMO bounced at $29.53. I am still suggesting caution and we're not suggesting new positions at the moment.

Earlier Comments:
I do consider this a more aggressive, higher-risk trade. GIMO has clearly been volatile since it went public last year. I am suggesting small bullish positions.

*small positions*

current Position: long GIMO stock @ $31.49

Time Frame: exit PRIOR to earnings in mid February
Average Daily Volume = 264 thousand

Comments:
01/11/14: H continues to churn sideways under resistance. I am adjusting my previous comments. Wait for a rally past $50.50 before considering new bullish positions.

Please note that I am adjusting our stop loss to $49.20.

Comments:
01/11/14: Our brand new play on LCI is off to a good start. Shares opened higher on Friday at $34.91. The stock surged to close up +4.2% on the session. Our suggested entry point was hit early on at $35.15.

Earlier Comments:
Our target is $39.50. However, we will plan on exiting prior to LCI's earnings report in early February (no date confirmed yet).

current Position: Long LCI stock @ $35.15

MDC Partners Inc. - MDCA - close: 25.92 change: -0.27

Stop Loss: 24.45
Target(s): 28.50

Entry on January 09 at $26.20
Listed on January 07, 2014
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 215 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: MDCA seems to be struggling to escape the gravitational pull of the $26.00 level. Shares hit new highs on Friday morning and midday only to reverse lower and underperform the market with a -1.0% decline. At this point I would probably wait for a new high above $26.35 before considering new positions.

current Position: long MDCA stock @ $26.20

01/09/14 triggered @ 26.20

Yandex N.V. - YNDX - close: 44.00 chnage: -0.22

Stop Loss: 41.90

Entry on January 02 at $43.31
Listed on December 31, 2013
Time Frame: exit PRIOR to earnings in mid February
Average Daily Volume = 2.7 million
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: YNDX initially saw some profit taking on Friday morning. Fortunately traders bought the dip at its rising 10-dma but the stock did close down -0.5% for the session. I am a bit hesitant to launch positions given the recent volatility.

Earlier Comments:
Our multi-week target is $48.50. We want to keep our position size small to limit our risk. FYI: The Point & Figure chart for YNDX is bullish with a $48.00 target.

*Small positions*

current Position: long YNDX stock @ $43.31

BEARISH Play Updates

Best Buy Co. - BBY - close: 37.81 change: +0.28

Stop Loss: 40.25
Target(s): 35.10

Entry on January 08 at $38.47
Listed on January 07, 2014
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 4.2 million
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: BBY managed an oversold bounce on Friday after a four-day sell off. If this bounce continues the stock should find short-term resistance near $39.00 and its 10-dma. I am not suggesting new positions at this time.

Earlier Comments:
Our target is $35.10. More aggressive traders could aim for technical support at the simple 200-dma, currently near $33.25 instead.

current Position: short BBY stock @ $38.47

- (or for more adventurous traders, try this option) -

Ecopetrol SA - EC - close: 35.40 change: -0.01

Stop Loss: 38.25
Target(s): 31.00

Entry on January 06 at $37.35
Listed on December 30, 2013
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 716 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: EC did not see a lot of movement on Friday. The fact that shares did not see an oversold bounce is probably a good sign for the bears. More conservative traders might want to lower their stop loss closer to the simple 10-dma (currently near $37.25).

Earlier Comments:
Our target is $31.00. Once it's below $37.50 the next level of support appears to be the $30.00 level.

current Position: short EC stock @ $37.35

01/08/14 new stop loss @ 38.25
01/06/14 triggered @ 37.35

Nationstar Mortgage Holdings - NSM - close: 32.28 change: -1.97

Stop Loss: 36.55

Entry on January 06 at $35.65
Listed on December 30, 2013
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 1.0 million
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: It's time to exit our NSM trade.

Shares came very close to hitting our suggested exit target at $31.00. The intraday low on Friday was $31.03. The stock did see a late day bounce that pared its losses on Friday to -5.75%. We are suggesting an immediate exit to lock in gains.

Earlier Comments:
I am labeling this an aggressive, higher-risk trade. There is already a lot of bears in this trade. The most recent data listed short interest at 39% of the very small 20.4 million share float. That is a risk of a short squeeze. Thus I am suggesting small positions. Traders may want to use put options to limit their risk.

Current Gain/Loss: + 6.0%

Entry on January 07 at $23.90
Listed on January 06, 2014
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 160 thousand
New Positions: see below

Comments:
01/11/14: Shares of Sears Outlet parent company (pre-spin off), Sears Holding, plunged on Friday thanks to bearish guidance. SHLD lost -13.7% on Friday. Meanwhile shares of SHOS dipped to a new low at $21.82 before paring its loss to just -1.49%. Tonight I am adjusting our stop loss to $25.05. More conservative investors may want to lower their stop closer to the 10-dma instead (currently near $24.35). I am not suggesting new positions at current levels.

current Position: short SHOS @ $23.90

01/11/14 new stop loss @ 25.05
