Comments:
04/19/14: CTL experienced a little bit of profit taking on Thursday after big gains the day before. Broken resistance near $34.00 should be new support and a dip near $34 could be a new entry point for the bulls.

Entry on April 17 at $31.15

Time Frame: 2 to 3 weeks
Average Daily Volume = 2.1 million
New Positions: see below

Comments:
04/19/14: The S&P 500 and the Dow Industrials both quietly churned sideways on Thursday. Shares of MTW also produced a sideways move but the stock did manage a minor breakout past short-term resistance near $31.00. Our trigger to open bullish positions was hit at $31.15. Traders may want to wait for a little more confirmation and look for MTW to trade above Thursday's high of $31.35 before initiating new positions.

Comments:
04/19/14: PPC continues to peck its way higher and added another +1.6% gain on Thursday. These are multi-year highs for the stock and PPC is now up 10 weeks in a row.

Investors could be betting PPC's chicken sales will improve as consumers look for cheaper alternatives to record-high prices on beef and pork.

This is currently a short-term trade. We plan to exit prior to PPC's earnings report on April 30th. However, we might be tempted to hold over the announcement.

BEARISH Play Updates

ChannelAdivsor - ECOM - close: 30.49 change: -0.24

Stop Loss: 31.60
Target(s): 25.25

Entry on April 14 at $29.75
Listed on April 12, 2014
Time Frame: 3 to 4 weeks

Comments:
04/19/14: The oversold bounce in ECOM appears to be failing at technical resistance at its 10-dma. Shares underperformed the market with a- 0.7% decline. Thursday's intraday low was $29.71. I would use a new drop below $29.70 as an entry point to launch bearish positions.

Comments:
04/19/14: Investors were unhappy with IBM's results shares of Big Blue plunged -3.25% on Thursday. This pressured shares of HPQ, which also traded lower and hit our new stop loss at $31.75.
