NEW DIRECTIONAL CALL PLAYS

Synaptics - SYNA - close: 42.75 change: +1.01

Stop Loss: 40.95
Target(s): 47.50
Current Option Gain/Loss: Unopened
Time Frame: 4 to 6 weeks
New Positions: Yes, see below

Company Description

Why We Like It:
Shares of SYNA have been showing relative strength the last couple of sessions. This technology stock is ignoring the market's sell-off. Instead SYNA looks poised to breakout from its $40-43 trading range.

I am suggesting a trigger to launch small bullish positions at $43.15. If triggered our target is $47.50. Although I will point out that $45.00 has been resistance in the past. We do want to limit our position size since we are going against the grain of the broader market.

Trigger @ 43.15 *Small Positions*

Buy the Jul $45 call (SYNA1320G45) current ask $1.40

NEW DIRECTIONAL PUT PLAYS

CH Robinson Worldwide - CHRW - close: 56.26 change: +0.11

Stop Loss: 56.65
Target(s): 51.00
Current Option Gain/Loss: Unopened
Time Frame: 3 to 4 weeks
New Positions: Yes, see below

Company Description

Why We Like It:
CHRW is in the freight and transportation services and logistics business. The stock has been trading in a wide, choppy trading range over the last few months but looks like it's about to change. CHRW is nearing major support near $56.00. A breakdown here could signal a significant move lower.

The April 19th low was $55.68. I am suggesting a trigger to buy puts at $55.50. If triggered our target is $51.00, near the 2012 low.

FYI: The Point & Figure chart for CHRW is currently bullish but a trade below $55.00 would create a brand new, quadruple bottom breakdown sell signal.

Trigger @ 55.50
