Yum! Brands, Inc. (YUM) operates as a quick service restaurant company. It develops, operates, franchises, and licenses a system of restaurants, which prepare, package, and sell various priced food items. The company operates various restaurant brands, including KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers.
The general markets are down across the board. However, YUM is holding its own and is actually up as I write this. Resturant stocks can be unforgiving as is the case of Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG). We only sold half the normal position because of the options inherant volatility. YUM is more diversified globally. By the time you read this YUM may be up over $38.50 and the puts won't be $1.00. That's ok. The 50 DMA (36.33) is the trailing technical stop. Otherwise we are going to use the entry price time 1.5 for our ratio stop. I.E. sell the put for $0.90 and close at a break of $2,25.
