Editor's Note

The markets rallied in the afternoon on news Trump may be ready to ease tariffs on China. Even though administration sources denied the president was thinking about lifting tariffs early to energize the trade talks, the market rallied anyway. The prevailing sentiment believes the war has gone on long enough and the cloud over the market is starting to worry Trump and republican leaders heading into the 2020 election season. Some believe Trump is ready to accept even a bad deal just to end the uncertainty. Any deal he accepts will be better than what we had and it just depends on how far he can stretch it before it causes more trouble here at home. The market wants to believe a solution is coming. Futures are up over 8 points tonight.

New positions are only added on Wednesday and Saturday except in special circumstances.
